RIBA stage 4: Technical design

 

In Stage 4, your team will spend time gathering technical information and developing the details to support the design.

It is a period where the team needs to bring their skills together because it requires input from everyone in design team but also specialist subcontractors employed by the contractor.

This is the stage where we interrogated every decision to ensure that the project can be built to a good standard, safely and in a cost effective manner .

Sometimes from this collaborative dialogue the client will be presented with alternatives that will respond to different priorities (Time, Maintenance, Cost etc) and will have an opportunity to re-consider where their focus should be.
