Repurposing the use of a material for a second life either in a different function (than originally intended) or in a different context, will become more and more mainstream.
There are many artists that use this methodology in their work but more than ever before, people are choosing to repurpose materials in their architectural and interior design projects.
Sourcing those materials and objects that are to de discarded from projects that are being refurbished across the city is what you would call urban mining.
