when you think in short term only, you imagine that you must have all the answers to every one of your future needs at the start of your refurbishment, and this is not helpful.
In fact, I often see clients get paralysed when rather than looking at their home as a place that will need to adapt to suit the changes in their life, they see it as a fixed all encompassing product.
This mindset can lead to problems such as:
1. costly refurbishments where you will be forced to source everything at once
2. multiple compromises in all fronts to fit the scope within an unrealistic budget or time frame
3. Having to redo works every few years when life changes impact needs change or the products you had to buy fail.
As any #Arkhlient would know, planning a strategy based on milestones would be a more manageable approach .
