I bought the 2001 Spanish edition soon after it came out and really appreciated the unpretentious low tech information it shares. This book explains the role that each of the components in your home has and how you can help them perform better.
In this book you will find straight forward illustrated explanations that will help you see your home in relation to its natural context and this is a very valuable tool because when it comes to the performance of your building, where you are in the world is key. You will not find greenwashing or any references to “ecovillages” in remote locations where the locals already live sustainably and in harmony with nature.
